Woodinville Wedding: Delille Cellars | Amanda & Adam
Woodinville Wedding: Delille Cellars | Amanda & Adam were married on a beautiful day in August. This was the absolute perfect venue for these two love birds! Romantic, intimate wooded setting for their ceremony and tented draped in white fabric over a patio for their reception dinner.
Amanda & Adam were one of our many couples planning from out of state, so we had many phone calls, Skype meetings and of course fun design meetings when they were in town. Hiring us for design & coordination, we helped put a color palate and decor elements together to make a cohesive wedding scheme. We recommended light airy colors as they wanted a romantic vibe with a little bit of classic-shabby touches. We had beige and neutral linens to keep a classy element and
Come wedding day, we not only saw all of the elements we helped with, but we saw SO many personal details that Amanda & Adam included which made their wedding that much more special! They had their name and wedding date embroidered on their outfits, personalized gifts for their entire wedding party, they even had personalized coloring books made for the handful of littles in attendance. It was such a pleasure working with Amanda & Adam’s semi-destination wedding (they traveled up from California to tie the knot with their Washington family).
Their vendor team was a dream! From amazing catering team, Herban Feast, to stunning floral by Paisley Petals, and even better dance party hosted by Seattle Wedding DJ, their wedding was phenomenal!
This wedding would not have been complete without the following vendors:
Spring is just around the corner! I can’t believe it! When the sun starts peeking out (which is a BIG deal when you live in Seattle!) and the cherry trees are in bloom, I start to get Spring Fever and cannot wait to get outside. But it’s usually still a little damp out and chilly, so what to do? Well besides continue to design and style our summer weddings, there is so much to prep for around the house.
Yep… I’m talking about Spring Cleaning!
With a full workload in the summer, two littles, and a hard working husband, it’s crucial to do a deep clean around here. A deep clean and get organized. I want to share the Spring Cleaning List and some organization tips that I use each spring.
5 Spring Cleaning Tips:
1 . Set aside at least a week to ensure a good and deep clean for each room.
2 . Sorting through clothes and personal items, if you haven’t used it last season.. probably time to donate.
3 . Be sure to check expiration dates on medications and spices.
4 . Put cleaning items in a basket. It makes it easy to carry from room to room.
5 . Schedule a donation porch pick up so items can be left directly on your porch after your clean.
And when it’s all said and done… light a candle, sit down, and sip on your favorite beverage! At least in this house, it’s the calm before the storm. Wedding season is about to begin!
Designing this destination wedding for Alex & Betty was such fun. Alex is very analytical and enjoys the details of things including wedding planning, where as Betty is much more big picture and not as detail driven; which is usually the opposite of what I usually see as a planner! It was delightful seeing their wedding come to fruition after a year and a few months of planning!
They very much wanted to include the Pacific Northwest feel in their wedding, which is one of the greatest reasons they booked their wedding at Salish Lodge. They loved the tall pine trees, trails, and of course Snoqualmie Falls. Incorporating the wooded feel (ferns, moss, rocks, succulents) onto their centerpieces, table numbers, ceremony decor.. and utilizing the local, Salish Honey as favors was just the perfect touch to their wedding.
Alex & Betty are very much in love and I was so honored to help them bring their style out in the different decor, flower, and colors we selected. Here’s to many more years of continued happiness and merriment. Congratulations to you both!
