Seattle Wedding: Black Diamond Gardens | Montana & Zach

Seattle Wedding: Black Diamond | Montana & Zach

Seattle Wedding: Black Diamond Gardens | Montana & Zach tied the knot in June after 15 years in the making!

Their wedding was such a dream to design! They wanted their wedding to reflect a classic-timeless style with subtle trending pieces, such as geo-watercolor table numbers, herringbone flatware, and medallion chargers. We chose navy as their main color with blush, rose golds, and a pop of coral to incorporate a Summer vibe. Selecting the perfect rentals with Cort Party Rentals from their beautiful new glassware to Paisley Petals lush blooms of coral and blush garden roses, white hydrangeas, and Italian greenery, it made for such a stunning combination.

Not only do they have incredible love for eachother, they have the biggest hearts and used FaceTime to video in out of town grandparents and even reserved their seats during the ceremony. With both sides of their family knowing each other for such a long time, it felt more of a family reunion and was quite the party!

Designing and styling is always a favorite, since we get the opportunity of working so closely with our couples. We will definitely miss working with Montana & Zach especially with our frequent meetings at Lady Yum and Cactus. Wishing you both a well-deserved honeymoon and happiness that lasts a lifetime!

Woodinville Wedding: Delille Cellars | Amanda & Adam

Woodinville Wedding: Delille Cellars | Amanda & Adam were married on a beautiful day in August. This was the absolute perfect venue for these two love birds! Romantic, intimate wooded setting for their ceremony and tented draped in white fabric over a patio for their reception dinner.

Amanda & Adam were one of our many couples planning from out of state, so we had many phone calls, Skype meetings and of course fun design meetings when they were in town. Hiring us for design & coordination, we helped put a color palate and decor elements together to make a cohesive wedding scheme. We recommended light airy colors as they wanted a romantic vibe with a little bit of classic-shabby touches. We had beige and neutral linens to keep a classy element and

Come wedding day, we not only saw all of the elements we helped with, but we saw SO many personal details that Amanda & Adam included which made their wedding that much more special! They had their name and wedding date embroidered on their outfits, personalized gifts for their entire wedding party, they even had personalized coloring books made for the handful of littles in attendance. It was such a pleasure working with Amanda & Adam’s semi-destination wedding (they traveled up from California to tie the knot with their Washington family).

Their vendor team was a dream! From amazing catering team, Herban Feast, to stunning floral by Paisley Petals, and even better dance party hosted by Seattle Wedding DJ, their wedding was phenomenal!

Seattle Wedding: Woodmark Hotel | Sally & Godfried

Seattle Wedding: Woodmark Hotel | Sally & Godfried were married on a beautiful day in June! They hired us for design & coordination, which is always exciting. Working closely with the couple to find their unique style and bring it to fruition with every single detail. Sally & Godfried’s style is very classic with a touch of sparkle. We selected soft blushes, grey and some mixed metallics to tie their color selection together.

Godfried even released his own designer collection with his and his groomsmen’s suits! His line up of men sure looked dapper! Sally selected beautiful long beaded dresses from Nordstrom for her lovely ladies and wore a Pronovias gown herself with a beaded bridal belt.

Details aside, this couple have true and genuine love for each other. Our favorite moment of the day was when Godfried laid down petals down the aisle for his Bride. We wish you two the very best in your marriage!

Seattle Wedding: Salish Lodge | Kacie & Brady

Seattle Wedding: Salish Lodge

Designing & Styling Kacie and Brady’s wedding was absolutely a dream come true! During their search for a destination wedding, Salish Lodge was the top recommendation on Google! So… they booked their flight from Kansas out to Seattle to check it out! Kacie & Brady fell in love with the rainy weather and golden yellow-orange leaves and booked their wedding one year out.

After long conversations and email threads about their vision and wedding day, I pulled together a style for their special day, filled with deep purple, shades of grey and a pop of magenta. Natural wood pedestals for the altar and hand wrapped welcome bags for their guests, each element was such an honor to select. (Doing my job is even more fun when clients completely trust the professionals!)

Kacie & Brady’s two boys were a delight! So sweet and absolutely loved their mommy and daddy! They even fell asleep during the ceremony… Dinner by the glow of beautiful candles, these two had one of the most important days for their family of four. Especially sharing their first dance all together!

Thank you for being such a joy to work with! You two are examples of what drive me to not only be the best, but work hard for my clients so they don’t have to on their wedding day and all the days leading up to it!

Seattle Wedding: 415 Westlake

Seattle Wedding: 415 Westlake | Jill and I met in January to discuss her Seattle wedding with me. Everything from what she has done to her vision of the day.. but my favorite part of our consultation, was when she told me the story of how her and Jeff met, their relationship and most importantly, the proposal!

Jill & Jeff have such a special relationship as they have had to undergo so much already as a young couple, now newlyweds. This was by far the sweetest wedding we have had the opportunity to be part of. The love Jill & Jeff have for each other is beyond measurable. They have already proven they will stand by each other and weather ANY storm that comes in their path.

Their wedding day was such a reflection of their personalities, relationship and love for one another. It was beautiful- from flowers and decor, to their wedding party’s wardrobe!

Here are the amazing photos, by Kate Price Photography, from their memorable day.

Seattle Wedding: The Loft at Russell’s | Lindsey & Kevin

It has taken WAY too long to get this lovely blog written on Lindsey & Kevin’s Seattle wedding! Weddings By Dani team had such an incredible time coordinating this stunning, romantic loft wedding. Here are a few words from the couple:

From the Bride…..

From the moment we met, Kevin and I shared the important value of family. So it was no surprise that when we got engaged we wanted our wedding to be an intimate family affair. We wanted everything from the planning, to the ceremony to the reception to be shared with our closest friends and family.

I grew up with three sisters and would be gaining a fourth. So we decided early on that we would only have family in our wedding party. Family is there through thick and thin. My oldest sister was my matron of honor. She is my sister, my best friend, my mentor and the one who can tell me how it is. Not only were my three sisters part of the wedding party but also Kevin’s sister. Kevin would have both his brother in law as well as mine. I was the flower girls former nanny who also viewed herself as a “sister” so of course she would be part of the special day.

We wanted to decorate our wedding on a budget and made most of the décor ourselves with the help of pinterest and our two stylists….My sister Mariah and “adopted” sister Brittany, truly brought all of our visions to life and helped up bring everything together. They were the backbone behind all the décor and the feel of the reception. When decorating a venue as big as Russell’s it is hard to picture how it will all come together. It wasn’t hard for me to convince Kevin of the classy color scheme…navy, blush pink and gold (sparkly gold that is) as navy and gold were the color’s of Kevin’s alma mater at Marquette.

Due to timing, we did not see our venue set up until we walked down the aisle. With the help of many close family friends, they transformed the loft into an intimate and romantic venue. My older sister suggested we do a standing wedding to help create the intimacy we were going for. At first, I could not envision it but as I walked down the aisle I knew it was the perfect choice. All our closest family and friends were surrounded around us as we joined together through marriage.

Our photographer was a family friend as well. She has known the bride’s family for 25 plus years and grew up with Lindsey and her oldest sister in Las Vegas. Their parents were also very close. When Kevin proposed there was no doubt in my mind that Norina should share in our day by capturing our wedding on film. Her husband was also our officiant.

The florist was also a close family friend of the groom. She helped the venue come to life with her
beautiful vision and talent for flowers.

The family affair of those involved in the wedding even extend to Dani, our day of coordinator. We both went to high school together and shared memories of high school dance team.

Lindsey’s favorite part of the day:

The dress I chose was the first one I put on. ( from Belltown Bride ) It immediately felt like the one even though it was the opposite of what I thought I wanted. Since the day I chose it, I could not wait for Kevin to see me as his bride. This was one of my favorite moments. It was so intimate to see your handsome groom for the first time and when it all became real that you were in your wedding day. I will absolutely remember the first look for the rest of my life. The way Kevin looked at me with watery eyes and how surprised he was to see me in my dress was a moment I will never forget.

First Impressions of the venue:

As I walked up the stairs to meet my groom at the end of the aisle, I really had no idea what to expect. I knew what our decorations looked like as we had slaved over hot glue guns, gold sparkle paint and pink ribbon for months wondering if we had enough, but I had no idea how it would come together. Needless to say, it was breathtaking. Everything filled the space so beautifully. It was picture perfect. Everything came together so nicely and far exceeded our vision….of a little sparkle (ok maybe a lot ) with a lot of class. Not too fancy but romantic. It was absolutely breathtaking.

From the Groom…

The best advice I received before the wedding was to let the day plan the moments for you. Like most couples we had the timelines for the vendors to be at the venue, when to be ready, and when to be where with who. For a day that you spend months, weeks, days, and even last minute hours meticulously planning, every moment can’t be planned out and really shouldn’t be planned out. Those moments, like seeing your beautiful bride sneak up behind you in her dress. The same dress that she stressed finding, being fitted for, and carefully teased me about how it looked. The first viewing was truly my favorite moment for the day. Seeing and twirling Lindsey in her dress was and always will be that one unforgettable moment of our day. In that one moment, nothing else mattered. We were able adore each other and take in our reactions about how beautiful she really looked.

Thank you to all of the vendors, couples, friends & family that helped make us successful in 2014! Here’s to all 2015 has to offer! Happy New Year everyone!

Woodinville Wedding: Hollywood Schoolhouse | Christina & Ramil

December 2013, we had an opportunity to coordinate our first winter wedding! Christina, former Miss Washington, had mentioned how she wanted everything to look at our consultations, glitzy, glamorous, and of course wintery! She hand made many of the signs and decorations that were carefully placed around the room, including the beautiful chalkboard signs. But honestly, I think Ramil and Christina were the most stunning couple! From their sweet love for each other and for their friends and family, it was such a perfect wedding day for this stunning Woodinville Wedding!

Here’s to a very happy 1st anniversary to Ramil & Christina! May you two love each other more with each passing day!

Lake Chelan Wedding: Karma Vineyards | Michelle & Blair

Michelle & Blair started planning their wedding the beginning of 2013. They came to us with visions of a winery wedding in Chelan with accents of gold throughout. Flashing forward a year and a half later, their Lake Chelan winery wedding was exactly what their perfect day was! We absolutely loved hand selecting vendors to make their wedding day complete! Michelle had designed all of the chalkboard signs and Blair contributed by building and assembling their Photo Booth backdrop!

Michelle & Blair also included details of special moments in their wedding including the first dance songs of their siblings’ weddings and also honored her cousin that passed away during their engagement, what would have been her bridesmaid at their wedding, by symbolizing her memory with a single red rose and a locket on her bouquet. Such a sweet gesture.

They soaked up the last bit of summer on this hot September day and danced the night away!

Congratulations to you both! And thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such an important day in your lives.

Seattle Wedding: Salish Lodge | Alex & Betty

Designing this destination wedding for Alex & Betty was such fun. Alex is very analytical and enjoys the details of things including wedding planning, where as Betty is much more big picture and not as detail driven; which is usually the opposite of what I usually see as a planner! It was delightful seeing their wedding come to fruition after a year and a few months of planning!

They very much wanted to include the Pacific Northwest feel in their wedding, which is one of the greatest reasons they booked their wedding at Salish Lodge. They loved the tall pine trees, trails, and of course Snoqualmie Falls. Incorporating the wooded feel (ferns, moss, rocks, succulents) onto their centerpieces, table numbers, ceremony decor.. and utilizing the local, Salish Honey as favors was just the perfect touch to their wedding.

Alex & Betty are very much in love and I was so honored to help them bring their style out in the different decor, flower, and colors we selected. Here’s to many more years of continued happiness and merriment. Congratulations to you both!
